FRENCH ARMY.
A collection of documents, including a letter of
appointment appointing, on behalf of Emperor Napoleon
I, appointing Monsieur Toussain Vigogne to the rank of Inspector General,
drawn up in Paris on 11 April 1813, signed ‘Montalivet’, Minister
of the Interior, Jean-Pierre Bachasson, Count of Montalivet
(1766–1823). A document printed and partly handwritten on
paper. An extract from the civil registers drawn up in the name of
Toussain Vigogne, dated 6 April 1818, and a service record,
signed in the name of King Louis XVI, drawn up at Versailles in 1774 by
his secretary. Folds, wear and tear, as is.
