ALFONSO, Infante of Braganza,
Duke of Porto (1865–1920).
A set of approximately 60 blank sheets of writing paper
featuring, on the left-hand side, a coat of arms embossed in
the arms of the Royal House of Portugal beneath a crown
topped by a dragon, with the inscription ‘Casa Militar’, and on
the right-hand side the inscription in black letters ‘Seriço de S.
Alteza Serenissima O. Senhor Infante D. Affonso”, in-4° format
(230x185 mm). Also included is a set of approximately 90 envelopes of
correspondence, a set of approximately 300 blank sheets of
letter paper with a header printed in black letters bearing the inscription ‘Serviço
de Sua Alteza O Serenissimo Senhor Infante D. Affonso’, size
in-4° (220x160 mm) and a set of 30 visiting cards
printed on card stock in black letters bearing the name of the ‘Duke of Porto’
and the ‘Duke of Porto, Infante of Portugal’. Some foxing,
but in good overall condition. French work from the early 20th century,
probably by Maison Stern in Paris and Maison Freire in
Lisbon.
