née Stoody Hayes (1885–1941).
A set of thirteen photographic portraits depicting
the wife of the Infante Alfonso de Braganza, Duke of Porto, at
various stages of her life, taken by the leading photographers of
the era, signed by Lafayette in London, Davis & Sanford in New
York, Mendoza in London, Van Dyck and Otto Sarony in New
York, E. O. Hoppé in London, Davis & Sanford Co in New
York and Hay Wrightson in London, etc. Period albumen and
silver prints, some of which are mounted on card
with the photographers’ signatures and stamps.
Slight foxing, but in good overall condition.
