née Stoody Hayes (1885–1941).
The Duchess’s diary for the year 1923, written in a
small blue percaline notebook bearing the inscription ‘Diary’,
68 pages, 8vo, text in English. An interesting document on the
life of the Duchess, who was then living in Paris at 14 Place Vendôme.
A photographic portrait of her is included.
Good overall condition.
