LAUTERBACH Edward (1844–1923).
Chairman of the New York County Republican Committee,
who served on the New York State Board of Regents from
1904 to 1911, he was related by marriage to the Duchess of
Porto, née Nevada Stoody Hayes (1885–1941). Set
of seven large photographic portraits by Pirie Mac
Donald, Aluan & Co, Botto & Hugue and Davis Eickemeyer
in New York, a lithograph signed by Charles B. Hall and
an engraving published by Charles Barmore in New York bearing
the autograph signature of Edward Lauterbach at the bottom of
the document, depicting him at various stages of his life. Also included is
the booklet published on 31 July 1908, on the occasion of the funeral of
his only son Alfred, who died in a car accident, and
an autographed postcard dated 10 August 1911 addressed
to Edward Lauterbach. Various formats, as is.
