FOREIGN ROYAL FAMILIES.
Set of four large photographs, depicting
Prince Leopold of Hohenzollern (1835–1905), pretender to the
throne of Romania in 1868, signed by Franz Mandy in Bucharest;
Prince Wilhelm of Hohenzollern (1864–1927), son
of the former, signed by E. Bieber in Berlin, with his
autograph signature at the bottom of the document ‘Wilhelm, 1904’; a
group photograph depicting Emperor Wilhelm II (1859
1941) on horseback in the company of King Hubert I of Savoy
(1844–1900), with a handwritten dedication by the photographer
“To H.R.H. His Grace the Duke of Oporto, with the respectful
regards of the photographer Joseph Frimoli, Rome, April …”
and a group photograph of officers in full dress uniform, including the
King of Saxony, the Prince of Wales, Prince Henry of Prussia,
etc., signed Jul. Braatz in Berlin. Albumen prints mounted on
cardboard with the photographers’ names at the bottom of the prints.
