King Charles Emmanuel IV of Sardinia (1751–1819) and
Philippine de Sales, Marquise of Cavour (1781–1848).
Pair of round miniature portraits, pastels on paper,
preserved under glass in their original square frames
of carved and gilded wood decorated with stylised motifs. Signs
of age, minor imperfections, but in good overall condition.
