VERMEIL TEA GLASS COASTER.
By the 26th Artel, Moscow, 1908–1917.
Round in shape, resting on a circular base decorated with a
large stylised floral motif in cloisonné polychrome enamels on
a gold amati background, surmounted by an openwork border in
cloisonné polychrome enamels on a green enamelled background, interior
vermeil. The handle is also adorned with motifs in
polychrome cloisonné enamels on a green enamelled background.
Art Nouveau-inspired work.
Slight signs of age, but in good overall condition.
Hallmark: 84, Moscow, 1908–1917.
Silversmith’s marks: 26th Moscow Artel.
