JEWELLERY BOX.
By the 11th Artel, Moscow, 1908–1917.
Rectangular in shape, with rounded edges, a
hinged, fully decorated on each
side with a large motif featuring a central rosette surrounded
by leafy arabesques in cloisonné polychrome enamels
on a gold amati background, interior in vermeil. Art Nouveau-inspired work.
Slight signs of age, but in good overall condition.
Hallmark: 84, Moscow, 1908–1917.
Silversmith’s hallmarks: 11th Moscow Artel.
