VERMEIL EGG CUP.
By KLINGERT, Moscow, before 1899.
Decorated with leafy arabesques in polychrome cloisonné enamels
on a gold amati background, surmounted by a twisted frieze in
sky-blue enamel. Included is a small serving plate
with the same decoration and a table salt cellar with its serving spoon.
Signs of age, but in good overall condition.
Hallmark: 88, Moscow, before 1899.
Silversmith’s mark: Gustave Klingert.
