SILVER SUGAR BOWL.
By PROKOFIEFF, Moscow, before 1896.
Round and domed in shape, resting on a circular base
with a removable handle, decorated with an engraved cartouche surrounded by
a bouquet of flowers. Comes with a sprinkling spoon,
vermeil interior. Signs of age, but in good overall condition.
Hallmark: 84, Moscow, before 1896.
Silversmith’s mark: I. P. Prokofieff, active from the 19th to the
early 20th century. H.: 5.5 cm – Diam.: 8 cm.
