Description
FROSTED GLASS EGG.
By the Imperial Manufactory, Saint Petersburg, 1890–1900.
Ovoid in shape, decorated with a painted polychrome scene
depicting Christ surrounded by flowers; on the reverse are the
initials in Cyrillic script X B ‘Christos Voskrese’, in
blue letters. Preserved with its original blue silk ribbon.
Signs of age, some gilding missing, but in good overall condition.
H.: 10.5 cm - Diam.: 7.5 cm.
