BISCUIT EGG.
By the Imperial Manufactory, Saint Petersburg, 1880–1900.
Ovoid in shape, painted with a polychrome scene
depicting Mary Magdalene holding an egg in her hand
and on the reverse, the Cyrillic initials ‘Christos
Voskrese’ in gold lettering. Preserved with its original
pale green silk ribbon. Signs of age, but in good condition.
