Brass crest, with a band bearing the letter ‘N’ beneath a crown. Chin straps with chain links, flower-shaped buckles, and a brass plume holder and band. Rear crest in the period style, with a black horsehair mane and a red horsehair plume. As found: a composite reconstruction featuring the original helmet and crest.
