A blue national-colour cloth coat fastened with nine gold buttons bearing the ‘RF’ monogram, richly embroidered with gold thread, cannetille and sequins, featuring a scrollwork and floral motif on the collar, front panel, facing and the edges of the lapels. Sash loop for the Grand Cross and numerous medal fastenings. Presented with a pair of breeches, a pair of boots, a 2nd-class military medal, an Italian Campaign medal with bar, an officer’s insignia of the Ministry of Public Instruction, and a Nichan Iftikhar officer’s star bearing the monogram ‘Ali Bey’ (the centre reverse is missing).
