German naval officer’s dagger. Synthetic ivory-effect hilt, anchor-shaped guard and folding counter-guard; lion’s head pommel. Straight blade with a back bearing the remains of the manufacturer’s mark ‘HOLLER’ from Solingen. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Length: 47 cm. ABE, made from a Model 1923 sabre, modified to remove the crossguard.
