Lot comprising a Model 1874 cuirassier helmet, a silver-plated helmet topped with a crester in the shape of Minerva’s head, a brass front plate decorated with a grenade, scale-patterned chinstraps and a leather lining. The helmet is slightly tarnished. Helmet partially reassembled; shell re-drilled. Leather lining in very poor condition. Lining present but cannot be removed. Fine crest. And a Model 1855/91 steel cuirass, with the breastplate and back slightly tarnished; broken leather shoulder straps topped by two brass chains; the belt is present but broken on the left-hand side; in fairly good overall condition.
