An antique embroidery, 'Calvary or Golgotha', mounted on a wood panel. 17th/18th century. An antique embroidery of Calvary or Golgotha, depicting the crucifixion on Mount Golgotha with The Virgin Mary and Saint John, Jesus Christ on the cross. Hand-embroidered appliqué, probably from an antique Chasuble or Banner. The embroidery is expertly sewed on a new base and is mounted on a wood panel. Dimensions for the frame: 103 x 113 cm. 17th/18th century. (98 x 66 x 0 cm)
