Demarquet Frères (1868-1890) a chalice with silver cuppa and paten, finished with an enamel crucifix, Gothic Revival. Silver-plated brass and silver. Chalice, with silver cuppa and silver-plated stem and foot Floral decorated node and finished with an enamel crucifix on the foot. Paten, silver. Decorated with an engraved cross. Gothic Revival. Silver marked on cuppa and paten. Grade marked with French Minerve, for first grade, 950/1000, France, period 1838-1973. Maker's mark for Demarquet Frères (1868-1890), Rue des Gravilliers, Paris. Consecrated by Archbishop Guibert of Paris, in 1884. With accompanying chest or case. Total gross weight of silver (cuppa and paten): 168 g. (12.5 x 22.5 x 0 cm)
