Slimbroeck widow (active 1849-1883) an altar crucifix with silver Corpus Christi and Tetramorphs, wood and silver. Gothic Revival, 19th century. Ebonized wood and silver. Altar crucifix mounted with silver Corpus Christi, INRI banner, Tetramorphs for the four Apostles and sunburst with inscription 'Insons Pro Sontibus Moriens' (The Innocent who dies for the guilty). Dated 1866, Kortrijk. Silver marked, with maker's mark of Slimbroeck widow, Ludovica Weyns, active 1849-<1883, Ghent. Gothic Revival, 19th century. (26.5 x 63 x 19.5 cm)
