Billaux-Grossé, a chalice. Gilt silver, Gothic-Revival, 1911. A six-lobed chalice, vermeil, Gothic Revival. The base is richly decorated with depictions of: - Calvary / Golgotha - The Sacred Heart of the Virgin Mary - Saint Raphael - Saint Leo (Pope Leo) - Saint Joseph The nodus is mounted with six enamel plaques: IESUS. Additionally, an inscription on the chalice reads: Calicem Salutaris Accipiam Et Nomen Domini invocabo. Includes the original spoon. Dated 1911 on the underside. Marked Billaux Grossé, Bruxelles. Silver tested, unmarked. Total gross weight: 796g. (18.5 x 23 x 0 cm)
