Maison Biais Paris, a vermeil chalice with enamel decorations, gilded silver, Gothic Revival, circa 1900. Gilded silver and enamel. Chalice, decorated with enamel lily cross. Inscription on the base: Calicem Salutaris Accipiam Et Nomen Domini Invocabo. Inscription on the nodule: Sacrum Convivium. Inscription on the cuppa: Hic Est Enim Calix Sanguinis Mei. Dated 1904 at the bottom. Silver marked on foot and cuppa. Grade marked with French Minerve, 950/1000, period 1838-1973, France. Maker's mark 'Biais Aine & Cie' for Maison Biais, Paris, period 1889-1897. Total gross weight: 589 g. (13.5 x 24 x 0 cm)
