A Sealed theca with a relic for the True Cross, mounted in a silver sunburst reliquary holder, including the document. Sealed theca or reliquary with a relic for the True Cross (De Ligno SS. Crucis). Including the document, dated 1840 and drawn up under the supervision of Bishop Ludovicus-Josephus Delebecque, Ghent. Mounted in a silver reliquary holder with a sunburst, finished with a gilded miniature bust of Pope Gregory XVI, Baroque style. Silver tested. On a small red and black marble base, under a glass dome. Dimensions reliquary: D: 4 cm. Dimensions reliquary holder: H: 18.5 cm x W: 14.3 cm x D: 6 cm.
