A richly sculptured reliquary stand containing a theca with a relic for Saint Peter the Apostle, including document, Baroque style. Reliquary stand or reliquary holder, sculptured and gilded wood, Baroque style. Mounted with a theca or reliquary pendant, containing a relic for Saint Peter the Apostle (S. Petri Apost.). On the back of the reliquary stand, a document or certificate is enclosed behind a label with the inscription 'Précieux relique de St. Pierre dont les authentiques se trouvent derrière' (Precious relic of Saint Peter whose authentics are located behind it). Indeed, a folded document is visible behind the label. The label has not been broken to verify the document or to check if the theca is sealed.
