Luxury double barrelled table top shotgun. Built with original percussion, front locks, very finely engraved with animal motives (dog and pheasants) of the famous arms manufacturer: LEPAGE MOUTIER in Paris (on a line). In impeccable condition for a 19th century gun. Total length 100 cm for 83 cm barrels. High quality burr walnut mounting. The hammers are embellished with a dolphin motif with an eye on each side. The original brass-tipped wooden ramrod includes the double-helix tamping screw, which is aimed backwards at the distal end. Damascened barrels. Smooth bore, 17 mm muzzle diameter. Original and homogeneous fittings in very detailed plant forms, inlaid in the wood with an extremely fine adjustment. No damage or missing parts, in its age-old patina.
