Description
German bayonet 1898 /05, carp tongue blade. Manufactured in 1917 by Alex Coppel in Solingen. Model of the 2nd type with flame guard on the back of the handle. Steel scabbard punched 18 with a homogeneous patina. Original tanning on blade and scabbard. The locking of the blade in the scabbard is frank with good springs. The push button is functional. Used condition, some minor rubbing to the wood of the plates and the steel of the scabbard, some minor bumping to the edge of the blade. Slight surface oxidation.
