Set of 2 French 1866 bayonets for the chassepot rifle with their two scabbards.
One is marked "Manufacture de St Etienne" and dated 1875. The push button is blocked. The other is unmarked.
One scabbard has lost its trigger guard.
Oxidation to be treated on the external metal parts. The blades are preserved and can be cleaned by simple polishing.
