Estimate €200 - €250
Description
French infantry officer's sword model 1816 with its leather scabbard bearing the weapon number (54). The bolt is missing. The scabbard is slightly untied, with the leather remaining supple and unbroken. Marking across the blade. The blade is unoxidised but has received a few light shocks to the edge. Very nice handle in stingray and brass filigree with modest deformations. The keyboard is mobile. The lock works. On the hilt: the weapon motif has been lost. There are 2 holes and visible traces of successive cleaning. Assisted by Mr Etienne Gaillard (06 63 13 63 66 - [email protected])
