Description
Civilian cane-sword without scabbard, with right-angled pommel composed of two different shades of horn adorned with small inlaid brass stars. The blade is supple and set in brass. The scabbard ferrule is a functional push-button system with a fully engraved brass ring. Total length 80 cm for a blade 60.5 cm long and 1 cm wide at the base. The handle would have had a coat of arms inlaid on the top. Only the recessed coat of arms remains. Total height of the handle: 13.5 cm, diameter 2 cm. 19th century weapon awaiting renovation or repolishing of the horn and adaptation of a scabbard.
