Description
Infantry sabre, AN XI model, 28 groove bronze handle, original rivet. Unmarked blade, on guard are 3 hallmarks including the B of the controller Breuil of the manufacture of Charleville (1806). With its leather scabbard and brass fittings bearing an attribution number, in very good condition. Perfect weapon in the state for presentation in collection. We enclose : a single blade sabre lighter year 9 / 1816, oxidation, total length in arrow 80 cm including blade 68 cm. A weld in the centre reveals the intense use until the last extremity of its weapons of the national defense. For restoration, reconstitution, panoply.
