Description
Shako troupe de chasseur à cheval 1874 complete with brass link and squadron pompom. Internal date and regimental number stamps. The upper braid shows some wear.
Original cloth.
The interior leather is supple and solid, but marked with a small tear on one of the wolf's teeth.
Model 1874 mounted troop shako in light blue cloth. Complete with brass link curb chain fastening on lion's head attachments. With its squadron pompom. Internal stamps with date and regimental number. The top braid shows some wear. The entire headdress is in unrestored original cloth.
The interior is cut in wolf's teeth from supple, strong leather, but is marked with a small tear.
Supplied with a photo of the rider on horseback and a brochure from "le vétéran" number 15 of 14 April 1907 used to adjust the size of the headband by folding.
