Vintage accessory for British Royal Horse Guard troop helmet. Including the white horsehair facing (synthetic) on its screw shaft. With its beautiful tan leather helmet cover, well marked WD (war department) and broad arrow. It is in good used condition. It is 39cm high with a 39cm base and lacing holes.
The falling hair is 48 cm long, on a 17.5 cm shaft fitted with a 2.2 cm diameter gilded metal ball ending in a screw thread.
