Description
Woolen breeches of a mounted officer of Algerian riflemen. Madder with sky-blue stripes, Third Republic and First World War period. On the back, a martingale bears a name label: "Bernier" and dated 1906. Waist width 42 cm. Total height 99 cm including 69 cm from the groin fold. It is fitted with brass buttons by "E Bonsergent", a tailor from the war school. Beautifully preserved. No holes or tears. Assisted by Mr Etienne Gaillard (06 63 13 63 66 - [email protected])
