Charles LEANDRE (1862-1934) Pierrot in Stamboul: - the kiss - the singer - the nude woman 6 lithographs signed in the plate lower right 28 x 21 cm Provenance: former Monmélien collection. NB: these three lithographs are part of a series of 8 intended to illustrate a book by Léon HENNIQUE, "Pierrot à Stamboul". The book was never published. All that remains is the manuscript full of original drawings by Léandre, preserved in the Condé-sur-Noireau museum, and the prints printed separately.
