[circa 1772] - 1781 - A good copy of this very good work in two parts bound in one volume, each part with its handsome engraved title-frontispiece. Each of the two parts includes a preface followed by 36 engraved plates (including the title) accompanied by their explanatory text, the set is complete with no gaps and includes 72 engraved architectural plates in good general condition, a few pages slightly soiled but not seriously soiled. Bound in full contemporary basane, 5-ribbed spine and red morocco title-pieces, rubbing and a few small leather tears not serious, hinges quite solid.
