Claudium Morillon, Lugduni [Lyon] 1615 - First edition of this work which was later reprinted under the title "Universa Medicina". Comprising sections on physiology, pathology and therapeutics, it was dedicated to Henry II, who had hired Fernel's services.
Cabanis tells us that Fernel was "a genius capable of systematising the most vast

Beautiful engraved vignette on the title, contemporary binding in full calf decorated with gilt medallions on the boards, framed with gilt fillets on the boards, spine with 5 nerves and decorated with gilt fillets, small tears and especially the first board loose. Very fresh inside.
