[ILLUSTRATED] [ORIGINAL AQUARELLES Pierre LOTI - Aziyadé Henri Cyral, Collection française, Paris, 1931 - A superb copy of this very successful edition illustrated with beautiful colour compositions by Pierre Rousseau of this orientalist text on Turkey, or rather the former Ottoman Empire. One of the 21 rare copies of the first edition numbered on Madagascar paper, including the 2 original watercolours by the artist. Some light marginal foxing, not serious. Later binding signed by Th. Roux in full morocco with matching morocco spine and spine sections folder, and matching bordered slipcase, slight traces on the spine of the binding but not serious: a very well established copy.
