[ILLUSTRATED] Octave MIRBEAU - The diary of a chambermaid Javal et Bourdeaux, Paris 1926 - Superb edition illustrated with black and out-of-text etchings by Lobel-Riche. One of 180 numbered copies on arches vellum. Very fine later binding signed Th. Roux in full pink morocco with the suites of the state with remarks and the pure etching placed in leaves in a morocco spine folder, the whole placed in a matching lined slipcase. Excellent overall condition, with a few foxing marks to the suites, but not serious. One of the most beautiful illustrated editions of this major text by Mirbeau, also known for having been adapted for the cinema. In-4, 309pp.
