[ILLUSTRATED] PETRONE - The Satyricon
Georges Leblanc, 1951 - Excellent edition illustrated with 33 original burins hors-texte and 43 woodcuts in the text. The 33 burins were engraved in 1934 to a design by Ambroise Vollard. Two hundred and eighty copies of the edition were printed on arches vellum, this being one of the 30 copies with a continuation of the illustrations, the fourth large paper before the large edition. A good copy in leaves, with a filled cover and double slipcase.
