Description
TOUCHAGUES Louis (1893–1974) “Le gros minou” Gouache on canvas, signed lower right, 46 x 38 cm, a minor flaw in the canvas
We would like to thank Mr Pierre Berbey, chairman of the Touchagues Association, for confirming the authenticity of this work. “This is indeed a painting by Louis Touchagues produced in the final years of his life. The stamp of the framer, whose shop was located near Touchagues’ home at that time, reinforces this view.”
