COMMENTS: Strip the Willow was a 1932 Prix du Jockey Club winning stallion owned by A. J. Duggan (1885-1967). A photograph taken at Chantilly on 12 June 1932, the day of the Prix du Jockey Club, shows Strip the Willow being held by A. J. Duggan. The horse's record in 1932 was remarkable: he won the prestigious Prix du Jockey Club - Grand Prix de Paris double, a feat achieved by only 23 horses in the history of these two events.
