Tomb-style chest of drawers in rosewood veneer, with four drawers arranged in three rows. Grey veined marble top. Decorated with a scroll motif, in a tomb-style form with a dynamic front. Rich ornamentation of chiselled bronze on the mouldings, keyholes, pull-handles, feet and lamp bases. Stamped ‘FL’ for François Lieutaud or François Lebesgue, Regency period. H. 84 – W. 134 – D. 66 cm. Replaced top, with scratches and chips on the top. Significant gaps in the marquetry, signs of wear, worm damage and a restored leg.
