Circular bronze SEAL MATRIX featuring a fleur-de-lys with orle inscription, pierced grip. Anjou, 15th century Height: 2.5 cm (wear) This die was formerly found in Genneteil (Maine-et-Loire). The fleur-de-lys indicates that it is probably the seal of a local royal administration, such as the provostry of Anjou to which this land belonged in the 15th century.
