Description
Lecoultre Suisse "Compass" spy camera, No. 2859, with 3.5/35 mm lens, accessories including tripod in blue Compass box. Circa 1937. As is. N.B. Jean-Marie PRADES: 24 x 36 mm format camera, using either insulated plates or Roll-Film. Designed by an Englishman, Noel Pemberton Billing, it was manufactured in Switzerland by Lecoultre et Cie. Kern F/3.5 35 mm lens. This is one of the most elaborate miniature cameras of the pre-war period, combining all the improvements known at the time (...) Around 5,000 were made.
