Set of three miniature cameras. An Expo Police Camera with box, a SFOMAX (S.F.O.M.) camera and a Minicord III (case). As is. N.B. Jean-Marie PRADES: SFOMAX, year 1949. Miniature camera manufactured by the S.F.O.M., 30 mm f/3.5 SFOMAR lens. Format 14 x 23 mm, on 16mm film cartridge. Curtain shutter, shutter speeds from 1/30 to 1/400 of a second, rangefinder focusing. The Sfomax was manufactured in Paru by S.F.O.M. (Société française d'Optique et de Mécanique). This miniature device, measuring 10 x 6 x 4 cm, is machined from polished cast aluminium and covered with a coloured coating. It is a marvel of manufacture, design and finish. It is focused using a rangefinder, through a Galileo-type sight, and can be lowered to around 40 cm (...). - Minicord III, circa 1858, manufactured by the Goerz firm in Vienna, 10 x 10 mm format on 16 mm film, 25 mm Goerz-Helgor f/2 lens, sector shutter from 1/10 to 1/400 sec.
