Description
With case, Devaux "Le Prismac" stereoscopic camera, no. 209, with Anastigmat à Prismes Jonte Paris 8/54 mm lenses, guillotine shutter, uses film 220, format approx. 6 x 13, each frame approx. 5.7 cm, circa 1903. As is. N.B. Jean-Marie PRADES: Bernard Vial, in his article in the Club Niépce Lumière bulletin, describes it perfectly, and does not think that Jonte is the author of the 1906 patent that gave birth to this camera. However, we can assume that Jonte was not entirely unaware of this achievement, as the model shown here is equipped with Jonte lenses and the small 45 x 107 mm model bears the inscription Jonte-Paris on the front (...). Visuals and texts " Autour d'une collection 2 " Collection JMP Club Niépce Lumière, pp. 142-143. Expert Isabelle Cazeils. Provenance : Jean-Marie PRADES Collection. Stereoscopic camera.
