FRENCH WEST AFRICA 50 francs ‘setting sun’ type, Grand-Bassam, 12 February 1920. P.9Da – BNB.103Ge – K.95. Alphabet M.33 – number 240. A rare and sought-after type, with few examples known to exist. Only two series (32–33) are currently recorded for this type, representing a maximum of 50,000 notes issued. Pins and holes with traces of rust, creases and tears at the margins. Very Good.
