FRANCE / CAPETIANS - FRANCE / ROYAL Louis XII (1498–1514). White with a crown, from Brittany, period forgery, undated, R, Rennes. cf. Dy.666 – cf. G.144; Billon – 1.91 g – 25 mm – 3 h Contemporary forgery; the shield is flanked by two lilies instead of two ermine. Silver plating worn on some raised areas; corrosion on the reverse. Very good condition.
