Description
FRANCE - FRANCE Consulate (1799–1804). Medal commemorating the Peace of Lunéville, by Pierre Ferrier ND (1801), Geneva. Bramsen 136; Copper – 21.57 g – 40.5 mm - 12 o’clock ‘COPIE’ hallmark on the edge, likely indicating a re-strike, but an old one using the original dies. A small spot of verdigris on the obverse. Superb, in mint condition.
