Bramsen 1831; Copper – 71.22 g – 50.5 mm – 12 h Dedication engraved on the edge: J. F. L. Count DE JOBAL (Cross of Saint Louis) (Legion of Honour) MAJOR OF THE KING’S BODYGUARDS, LIEUTENANT-GENERAL. Medal by the publisher Charles-Louis-Fleury Panckoucke to mark the publication of the work “Victories, conquests, disasters, setbacks and civil wars of the French, from 1792 to 1815”, published in 30 volumes between 1817 and 1825. Inscribed on the edge, most likely in gratitude for a subscription. Superb.
